Diane Loviglio is Co-Founder & CEO of Boon + Gable, a mobile app that brings a personal stylist to your home with 20 specifically chosen items for you. Just give them an hour, pay for what you keep and forget about the rest.
Boon + Gable was born from her frustration as a shopper who wanted to ditch the hectic and stressful in-store shopping experience and create a solution for dressing her best and saving time. Before founding Boon + Gable, Diane worked as Mozilla’s first qualitative User Experience Researcher and co-founded the first conference to focus on tech failures, FailCon, when failure was still a taboo topic. Her expertise in sustainable design originally led Diane to the Bay Area, where she designed a public green roof featured in National Geographic. But since architecture moved too slow for Diane, she started Wattbot, an online recommendation service that helped homeowners save money on their energy bills. She received her Bachelor of Humanities and Arts in Architecture and Anthropology from Carnegie Mellon University and when not being a CEO she can often be found in her favorite pair of AG jeans and playing with her 18 month old daughter.
Gilman Tolle is Co-Founder & CTO of Boon + Gable. He's a full-stack developer who has created software tools ranging from consumer mobile apps to enterprise energy monitoring systems to embedded network protocols, and still finds time to teach, hike around cities, and raise a delightful young daughter. He started with a B.S. in Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon, then left the Computer Science Ph.D. program at UC Berkeley to co-found his first startup, Arch Rock, which was acquired by Cisco.
Nicole Chiu-Wang is Co-Founder & COO of Boon + Gable. She's also Boon + Gable's head stylist, in keeping with her "Jill of all trades" personality. She started as a trademark attorney and stylish pageant queen, then found a new place among the emerging fashion tech startups of San Francisco when she joined Rocksbox, a designer jewelry subscription startup. Because she always needs a "side hustle", she's also releasing a line of fashion-forward athletic socks and graphic t-shirts under the brand-name Treadfast. Nicole graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine, with degrees in Women’s Studies and Asian American Studies. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles.
