Stylists

First and foremost, we're looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy helping people and have an understanding of how to dress men and women of all body shapes. Our stylists aren't pushy sales people, instead they value creating long term relationships with their clients. They are fun to be with and truly care about helping people look and feel their best.

We’re looking for:

Stylist Assistants

Our Stylist Assistants are key to our operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. We're looking for a few more part-time assistants to join our team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shopping for a pre-defined list of merchandise from various stores
  • Purchasing and returning the merchandise before and after the visits
  • Communicate, problem-solve and troubleshoot daily operational issues as they arise

Data Scientist

We're looking for a data scientist who's excited about solving problems and improving our clothing selection and customer experience. We have tons of clean data to work with, from style preferences to past purchases to feedback gathered during each visit, and have barely scratched the surface of what we can do with it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Understanding and analyzing the data we currently collect
  • Coming up with new ways to use that data to improve our clothing selection and customer experience
  • Thinking of new kinds of data we can collect and analyze
  • Ideally, implementing those techniques as a part of our backend services as well

What you should already have:

  • Creativity and curiosity when using data to solve problems and improve experiences
  • Experience using statistical methods and machine learning techniques in a real-world environment
  • Great communication and visualization skills
  • Excitement about working with a small team - you'd be one of our first engineers

And it'd be great if you had...

  • Server-side and backend development experience
  • Familiarity with Rails and Postgres, but we're flexible and will do whatever it takes to get the job done

Email Marketing Manager

Our Email Marketing Manager position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Influencer Marketing Manager

Head of User Acquisition & Growth

What you’ll be doing:

  • Projecting and hitting growth targets
  • Drive strategy, budget and execution of new customer acquisition through all forms of online and offline paid marketing such as: direct mail, in-person events, street team tactics, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin ads, email growth, re-targeting, push notifications, video advertising, radio, podcasts, referral program, loyalty program and gift cards
  • Own the Acquisition, Activation, Referral and Retention (AARR) lifecycle
  • Oversee rigorous creative testing, landing page optimization and funnel optimization to maximize media spend
  • Deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting on marketing metrics

About you:

  • Experience cranking through heavy analytics and drawing out insights

City Launcher

Our City Launcher position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and implementing the city playbook
  • Running tests all the time to see what offline strategies work best to get the word out
  • Working with the brand and performance marketing team and communicating your findings with them
  • Organizing events for our community of clients

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you run Boon + Gable’s operations in your market. You manage day to day operations while simultaneously working to improve operations processes for greater efficiency and better stylist and client experiences. You recruit, develop, and lead the operations team that will change the way your city shops. You’ll work with Boon+Gable’s COO as well as the engineering and customer experience teams to deliver the Boon+Gable experience and scale the operations in your city.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage day to day operations in your city
    • Manage relationships with local retail store leadership to drive improved store operations through partner locations
    • Continually seek improvement in our operations and internal product and communicate those improvements directly to the COO and engineering team
    • The buck stops with you. Make informed and thoughtful decisions to resolve local Stylist and client issues.
    • Constantly uncover opportunities to help Stylists and Stylist Assistants WOW our clients with an amazing experience every visit
  • Hire and train your city operations team
    • Strategically analyze, set, and manage hiring plans and scheduling to ensure operations can keep up with demand
    • Recruit, train, coordinate, and lead the operations team which will go on to redefine the way your city shops
    • Implement ongoing training programs to ensure Boon + Gable Stylist Assistants are up to date with best practices and product iterations to ensure the best client experience
    • Plan and execute local events for local Boon + Gable Stylist Assistants to foster team culture
  • Assist marketing with local campaigns and partnerships
    • Hustle hustle hustle. You play a vital role in supporting growth in your city.
    • Help execute in-market expansion strategy for Boon + Gable.

What you should already have:

  • 5+ years of related work experience in retail management, operations management, or start-up management (with a team of at least 10 employees)
  • Positive and firm people management skills with a clear client experience focus
  • Creative problem-solving instincts and a get-it-done attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners
  • The curiosity and intellectual honesty to continually identify opportunities to improve processes, in an environment which is constantly evolving
  • Superior organizational skills and great follow through on tasks
